GCSE Veneered Jewellery Box

This is my first attempt at making a box. It wasn't initially made with the purpose of becoming a jewellery box but after making the jewellery it became apparent that it would be a fitting function. I chose a Celtic knot design as the veneer top which I drew on CAD to create the sections.

The beginning for my jewellery journey

My discovery for my interest in jewellery design all start at GCSE where I chose my first brief. From here i began exploring with designs and materials resulting in my final pieces. A pendant and ring set made from silver with crimson tear drop cabochons...never did set myself an easy challenge, which, still to this day I'm known for not making much of my work very simple :)

Finally setting up my blog to get my work out there :) Im going to start with looking back at some of my previous work and inspirations that led me to my journey jewellery designing and making.
